It is our belief and approach, to all ministry, that the Bible and Christian values are the foundation for happy and fulfilled people and families. That is certainly true when it comes to children as well. Our Harvest Daycare and Afterschool programs are designed to offer a safe, Christian environment where Biblical values can be taught and modeled. We believe that such an approach, especially when lived at home, creates a positive and empowered heart in the life of a child.

 

These moldable years are critical in a young child's life and we are here to come along side you, theparent, and assist you in your goals to have children who will "live right" and "live well" and reach God's fullest potential in their lives. Melanie Moss-Butler - Daycare Director

 

  Melanie has enjoyed working with children in the daycare and preschool ministry since October of 2005.  She has over 16 years of experience in early childhood and is certified in Early Childhood Education.  She is passionate about teaching children about the love of Jesus Christ and dedicated in providing children the highest level of quality child care. She is a member of the South Carolina Early Childhood Association and actively involved with South Carolina Program for Infant/Toddler Care.  Melanie is married to her best friend, Matt Butler and they enjoy spending time with their wonderful 9 year old daughter, Maddy. In Melanie's spare time, she loves to read books that encourage her to be a better person in Christ.

 

 

Our Class Rooms:



 

K-1A (6 weeks to 6 months)

The Harvest Daycare and Preschool accepts infants who are 6 weeks to 6 months old in the K-1A room. This room is dedicated to infants that are not yet mobile. This helps our infants to feel safe and secure in a loving atmosphere that allows them to flourish.

K-1B (6 months to 13 months)

K-1B encourages movement for infants that are starting to crawl, scoot and walk. This room offers a safe environment that is set up to provide infants opportunities for motor development and exploration of their surroundings.

K-2A (13 months to 24 months)

The K-2A room provides students with a range of hands on activities that encourage learning through play. Crafts and activities in this room stimulate creativity and promotes fine and large motor skill development.

K-2B (24 months to 36 months)

K-2B is the place for two-year olds to assert their independence. This room provides opportunities for your child to express themselves as individuals and interact with their classmates and teachers.

K-3 A,B,C (3 year olds)

All of our K-3 rooms are designed to encourage children to learn through play. Each classroom has a variety of centers available through out the day for children to explore.

K-4 (4 Year Olds)

Our K-4 program provides a comprehensive educational A Beka curriculum which includes language arts and development, math, science, social studies, music and movement, Spanish and Bible study. We are currently enrolling for this class, however space is limited. Call today for a tour!
